- All trainings must include, at a minimum, the following information:
- Title of training (and a shortened version of the title if the actual title is more than 60 characters).
- One or more training categories in which the training fits.
- One or more age groups to which the training applies (or General if the training is not targeted to a specific age group).
- The city and county in which the training will be offered.
- The language in which the training will be taught.
- At least a brief description of the training. A two- to three- sentence description is preferred.
- The number of credit hours given for the training.
- The Oregon Registry Set in which the training fits.
- The cost of the training (or free if there is no cost).
- Contact information for questions about the training or for providers to register for the training.
- Titles should use a "camelback" style, using upper case for the initial letters of important words and the rest of the word in lower case (i.e "A New Training for Children" not "A new training for children" or "A NEW TRAINING FOR CHILDREN").
- The default font and size should be used. Posters may use bolding, italicization, or underlining for emphasis, as well as numbering or bulleting.
- Descriptions should be sufficient provide a basic understanding of what will be covered in the class.
- Standardized trainings MUST use the standardized titles, descriptions, as well as the already-assigned training categories, age groups, Oregon Registry Set, and credit hours, if applicable.
- The use of the "standard contact information" is encouraged. If unique contact information must be entered, it must at least contain the agency offering the training and a contact phone number and email address for the training. The use of personal names in the contact information is discouraged. The use of personal names in email addresses is also discouraged, but may be unavoidable.
- Consistency should be valued. If a training is entered more than once, it should be entered in a parallel and consistent fashion each time.
- For trainings taught in a language other than English, at least a minimal translation of the title must appear in parentheses after the title and a brief description of the training in English must appear in parentheses following the description of the training in the language in which it will be offiered.
