The Oregon Child Care Training Calendar is intended to make information about statewide professional development opportunities in the field of childhood care and education easily available to child care providers and educators. There is no charge for posting a training on this site, however the following conditions must be met:

  • Trainings may only be posted by:
    • Sponsoring Organizations registered and in good standing with the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (the "Center");
    • Master trainers certified by and in good standing with the "Center";
    • Community trainers certified by and in good standing with the "Center";
  • Sponsoring organizations may post Set One trainings without approval by the "Center," however Set Two and Set Three training sessions must be pre-approved by the "Center" before offering or posting.
  • Master trainers may only post classes that they are personally offering; they may post classes that they have independently developed, standardized trainings for which they have been approved and have had training in, and train the trainers sessions. Set Two and Set Three training sessions must be pre-approved by the "Center" before offering or posting.
  • Community trainers may only post classes that they are personally offering; they may post classes that they have independently developed as well as standardized trainings for which they have been approved and have had training in.
  • At this time, only classroom trainings may be posted individually.
  • If classes are canceled, the cancellations must be posted in a timely manner.
  • For conferences, the entire conference schedule will be posted on the website, however individual sessions may not be separately posted.
  • All posting must conform to the style guide for this website and are subject to editing by the calendar administrator.
  • All trainings posted must further the goal of this website in promoting the professional development in the field of childhood care and education.

Organizations and individuals that would like to post trainings but that do not meet the above criteria should contact a sponsoring organization to see about posting possibilities.

Other information:

  • To obtain a username and password in order to post trainings, please use the contact button to send an email to the calendar administrator.
  • Trainings must be approved by the calendar administrator before they are published (i.e. viewable to the public).
  • In most cases, trainings will be published within 48 hours of submission (weekends and holidays excepted) and usually within 24 hours.
  • The Oregon Child Care Training Calendar reserves the right not to publish trainings it deems inappropriate, as well as the right to revoke login privileges to organizations or individuals that repeatedly misuse the calendar or repeatedly fail to comply with calendar guidelines.
